My Story

HISTORY: GOLDFISH was abandoned with an eye defect that severely limits her vision. TEMPERAMENT: GOLDFISH is a petite female orange tabby with a very sweet disposition. She arrived at F&F in rough shape, suffering from pancreatitis, a UTI, and signs of early renal disease. Her eyes were barely visible behind malformed lids, making it very hard for her to see. She has since recovered from the pancreatitis, UTI, and removal of an eyelid polyp. With the help of SQ fluids, her renal function has improved but needs to be rechecked to confirm continued improvement. Daily drops and ointment applied to her eyes appear to have improved her vision too, as she is now finding her way easier. GOLDFISH needs a home that will be safe for a small kitty with limited vision, and an adopter willing to meet her medical needs as they evolve. AGE: born approx. 6/20/2017 MICROCHIP #: -6870 DATE OF STERILIZATION: spayed, date unknown VAX RECORD: FVRCP #1: 7/15/24, FVRCP #2: 8/19/24; FVRCP expires: 8/19/25; Rabies expires: 7/15/25 FELV/FIV test: 6/25/24 neg ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ADOPTION FEE: $100 If you may be interested in adopting, please complete our online application: https://www.fandfnm.org/application.
