Gracie was found outside with a severe abdominal wound, and neighbors on the street where she was rescued said the injuries had been inflicted by humans ??. Though this broke our hearts, the first vet who saw her thought the wound might have been caused by a burst tumor and recommended euthanasia. Thankfully, a second opinion gave Gracie the chance she deserved. This compassionate vet believed her injury was more likely caused by wire fencing and was determined to save her. After months of care and recovery, Gracie made a miraculous comeback, blossoming into the sweet and gentle soul we know today. In her foster home, Gracie quickly became comfortable and bonded with her family. She was so easy-going that her foster mom focused on other urgent cats in need. But as Gracie has grown older, she’s made it clear she’d prefer a quieter, less chaotic home where she can enjoy her golden years in peace.
