Guppy

This is a VERY special girl looking for an equally special human. Guppy has no tail but a HUGE heart. This girl will keep you laughing with her brave personality, curious nature, and playful disposition. She is also incredibly loving and enjoys being near her people. She is quite the cuddle bug and especially enjoys curling up on your chest or in your lap for a nap. Guppy has special needs and will likely require special care for the rest of her life. Whether from Manx Syndrome, a birth defect, or a combination of those reasons she needs to be closely monitored to ensure she has normal, healthy stools. If Guppy's stools are too soft she might have accidents. From her time at the shelter and in foster we have figured out a care plan that seems to be working well for her. This plan consists of a combination of special prescription foods, a probiotic powder, and psyllium husk powder to give her extra fiber in her diet. Maintaining these on top of sticking with a feeding schedule has gotten her to be 95% successful in not having any accidents. She lives a pretty normal life and is a very happy kitten! While Guppy may not be the gal for everyone due to her special care needs, we know someone will fall in love with her and will be able to provide the care and love she needs. And that person will be VERY lucky to have such a sweet, amazing addition to their life. Guppy truly is one of a kind and as soon as you meet her you will fall in love!
