Gussie (bonded with Gracie)

DOB 8/1/24 Gussie is dark leopard spotted tabby with amber eyes. Some amazing people found her and a brother and 2 sisters (4 total) under a barn and they have flourished since. She had a rough start but she amazed me with how much of a fighter she was and has blossomed into one of the sweetest kittens I have been around. She will nuzzle into your neck and just purr. She sits on my lap while I work and just purrs herself into slumber. She gets the zoomies and runs around the house with her siblings which is so fun to watch. She loves playing with puzzle toys and I will find her by herself in the other room playing with a puzzle toy, just fixated. She is going to make her forever family so grateful to have her. She is bonded with her sister Gracie. PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier.
