My Story

Hi, I’m Harley & this is my sister Holley. We got our names because of our big purr motors, I’m obviously named after some sort of motorcycle the lady likes and she named my sister Holley after something called a carburetor, whatever that is. We were born out in the woods sometime in June last summer. Well, I eventually started letting her touch me just for a few seconds when we were eating but my sister was having none of it. We both loved sleeping in her comfy deck chair though. The days went by and we were living our best little wild kitten lives, playing, chasing birds & mice, learning how to climb trees. We eventually started letting the lady touch us & pet us, me more than my sister, but not until the middle of September! We would come running for breakfast when the lady called us. She managed to catch us with the help of Fancy Feast tuna puree (if you’re keeping notes that stuff is one of my favorite things EVER!) and took us in the house, even though we were really hard to catch, especially my sister. We stayed in the lady’s entryway until we finally went to meet another lady from SNAP't Cat Rescue. We were really scared, but the lady said it would be ok & someone would adopt us & love us & spoil us for the rest of our lives. She really wanted to keep us but she couldn’t because of the one cat that lives in her house that we never got to meet because she said he might be really mean to us. When we lived in the entryway, we loved to play & eat &nap & watch birds from our window shelf & run around like the crazy little kittens we were. We are very bonded, and we don’t know a lot about the world beyond the only home we have known so far, so we will need some extra time, patience & love but the lady says we’re definitely worth it. We are both litter box trained & have never had any accidents in the house & the lady says we have the cutest little squeaky meows. My sister has always been more adventurous than me, I was always watching everything & taking it all in. Now we’re here in the big city with all these strange cats & people & noise, and we are shy and scared. We have gotten used to Petsmart at Richfield in the short time we have been there and we would love our own patient person! $400 for the pair
