My Story

Meet Haze: The Belly Rub Connoisseur! Haze is a young gray male cat with a personality as soft and inviting as his fur. This charming little guy has a passion for belly rubs and will happily wiggle his way into your arms to ask for more! When he’s not busy soaking up affection, Haze can be found zipping around the house, delighting in his collection of toys—feathers and bells are his absolute favorites. Haze enjoys the company of other cats and would do well in a home with a feline friend, especially an older, laid-back cat. He also wouldn’t mind being the star of the show as a single cat, provided he gets plenty of playtime and cuddles. Haze will take a second to warm up to children after a brief introduction. He would probably do best with respectful and older kids. Haze has yet to meet any dogs, so his feelings about canine companions remain a mystery. Haze is litter box trained, neutered, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who will happily curl up beside you after a good play session, Haze might just be your perfect match! Haze is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email [email protected]. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
