Hazel

Hazel was part of a stray cat colony in Brooklyn. One day, she climbed into someone's apartment through an open window to escape sub-zero temperatures and decided to stay. That was when we knew she's ready to settle down! She is still pretty shy with humans but will solicit pets and show affection once she gets to know you. She's good with dogs in her foster home and is happy to share the dog beds. We know she gets along with other cats from her time as a stray. Hazel is about 2 years old and 6 lbs. She is healthy and tested negative for FELV and FIV. She's fostered in Manhattan and is available for adoption anywhere in the US as long as the adopter is willing and able to travel to meet her.
