My Story

Meet Hector! This young (2024) male is black with a few tufts of white and the most adorable white back toes! He is extremely friendly and lovable. Hector previously lived with other cats and dogs of all ages. Hector is a silly, sweet fellow. The videos are his first time out of his cage in a free roaming room, after only four days in the building (he spent months at Petco and went unadopted). As you can see, not a care in the world with this guy! He curiously walked around, met the 30 new roommates and rolled around on the floor. Hector is gentle, quiet and will make an excellent addition to any family! He is current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchip. He has tested negative for FIV, FELV and heartworm. **Questions about Hector? Call the shelter at 309-797-6550 or text 319-241-5339 **Animal Aid is a 100% volunteer run, 501c3 no-kill shelter.
