Meet Hera, a 1-year-old female cat with a personality! Hera can be grumpy, and she takes her time to warm up to new people. She is easily upset by people she isn't comfortable with yet being in her space. Hera may hiss and growl when she feels upset, but she has never harmed anyone trying to handle her. She will need a family with experience and understanding of her moodiness. With a gentle touch and lots of patience, you’ll discover her loving side. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes a cuddly companion who adores ear and butt scratches. When Hera has felt stress, she has had issues with stress eating and weight gain, so she’ll need a caring owner to help manage her weight and keep her healthy. She does well with other cats but isn’t a fan of dogs, and her moody nature means she’d be best suited for a home without young children. Hera is spayed and fully vetted.
