Hester

Hester was found living with a colony of cats, but unlike the rest she was far too friendly and affectionate to be living on the streets. Hester did test positive for FIV from her time on the streets, but thankfully FIV is no longer considered the death sentence it used to be. We know now that in a group of spayed/neutered cats, FIV is *not* spread by casual contact or sharing bowls, but only through deep bites. Positive cats can live with negative cats as long as there's no serious fighting. Hester lives peacefully with many other cats and a small dog. She is active and curious, and loves people of all ages. Adoption fee for this cat includes FVRCP vaccine, FIV/FELV testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian.
