Love is in the air, and Homer is looking for his home to spend these winter nights with his forever person. Homer has the biggest paws we ever did see, and the cutest face too! This 2 year old dapper boy is ready to rock and roll with his favorite toys and favorite people. One of his favorite things to do is daringly chase wand toys until he can't chase no more! Homer is also a total foodie and loves his meal times. He considers Bobby Flay is hero, although Homer is more of a taste tester than a cook in the kitchen. But don't worry, he will probably be sure to assist with whatever you need when snacks are involved! Homer is high energy and loves to enthusiastically chase wand toys until he pants. He would do best on a home with family who is home often to give him lots of love and attention. He isn't shy about letting you know when it is time for a cuddle session, or playtime for that matter. With the most adorable meow, Homer would likely do well with a dog given his preference for rough and tumble play. He could do ok with cat savvy kids who are respectful. About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered.We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
