Meet Hugo – The Big-Cheeked Softie! Hugo might look like a big, grumpy tomcat with his impressive man-cat cheeks, but don’t let that fool you—he’s nothing but a mush! This 5-year-old Siamese mix is as sweet and gentle as they come, and all he really wants is a forever home where he can finally relax and be loved. Life hasn’t been easy for Hugo. Losing his home and ending up in a scary shelter, followed by multiple foster homes, has left him a little shaken. But despite everything, he remains a loving, kind-hearted boy who just needs a stable home to show his true affectionate nature. His next home must be his last—he’s ready to be pampered for the rest of his life. Hugo is a polite and friendly guy with other cats, getting along well with both males and females. He’d likely do fine with a cat-friendly dog too! Because he can be a bit nervous in new or unpredictable environments, a calmer home with older kids or no kids at all would be the best fit for him. One special request from Hugo: wet food only, please! He’s not the best at drinking water, so he relies on his meals to stay hydrated and prefers the wet stuff over dry anyway. His new family should be prepared to keep his bowl full of the good stuff! If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, Hugo is your guy.
