My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Ivy - Your Perfect Lap Cat Companion! Ivy is a sweetheart who thrives as the one and only pet in her home. She absolutely adores human attention and would be an especially great companion for a senior or someone who enjoys spending their days with a devoted feline friend. This lovely lady is a true lap cat-whether it's curling up in a chair with you, snuggling in bed, or following you from room to room, Ivy loves being by your side. Though she's an older girl with a lower energy level, she still enjoys batting at wand toys and chasing toy mice when the mood strikes. After a long day at work, you can count on Ivy to be right there, ready for affection and lap time. And on lazy weekends? She's your perfect sleep-in buddy, happily soaking up the extra time together. She also adores being brushed, making grooming sessions another way to bond with her. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to love and be loved, Ivy is ready to be your new best friend! Ivy is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start's adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
