My Story

I'm the best thing yet about Winter, 2025!! I am around 1 1/2 years young and I was found as a stray cat in Freehold. A Good Samaritan noticed me trying to get into neighbor's houses for almost a week and called Animal Control for help! I came to the shelter in need of a warm home and a loving family, and I just know that both are right around the corner! I am a very friendly boy who has lots and lots of love to give my new family. I love to be petted and kissed and cuddled. I also like to play with all sorts of toys! All MCSPCA kitties are tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) before they are put up for adoption. The test detects whether or not a cat has been exposed to FeLV. My test was unfortunatley positive, indicating that I had been exposed to the virus. Whenever a cat has a positive test for FeLV, a second test that determines whether the cat has been infected with the virus is performed. Thankfully, I had a negative result for this test, indicating that I have not been infected with FeLV! What this all means is that I was exposed to FeLV but could fight it off! I should be retested in 3-6 months to confirm I remain negative. Out of an abundance of caution, I should not go home to any other kitties at this time. I do love the spotlight, so I don't mind being the only cat. I have the love of 10 cats to give my forever family!!
