Meet Jason! This shy-guy is secretly a real sweetie! He initially arrived at the shelter as a semi-feral kitten, where he was adopted out to a family who was interested in socializing a scared kitten. Jason only recently made his return back to the shelter after escaping his home and ending up here as a stray. The former owners unfortunately informed us that they were no longer interested in taking him in. Jason is looking for a quiet home with one person who is wiling and able to go slow with him. He is not aggressive in the slightest, but he is shut down and in his shell being back here at the scary shelter. Jason purrs for staff and allows people to pet him. We believe given the right environment and some time to adjust, Jason will blossom into a loving kitty. Jason comes neutered, up to date on vaccines, and has a micro-chip as well! His adoption fee is $75.
