My Story

Please contact Lauren McCarty ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.Handsome Jay needs a forever home!JAY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Jay Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 7.5 months (Est. DOB: 5/31/24) SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 8.1 lbs a/o 1/4 Coloring: Orange & White Tabby Type of Hair: Short Gets Along With: With proper integration, Jay should get along with other cats, dogs, and kids. We're happy to help with tips and tricks! Currently Living at: foster in the DC area I am Looking For: My forever home! Hi- I'm Jay - a gorgeous kitty. I won't ask for much...just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitty self! What The Shelter Says About Me: Jay is a sweet ginger guy. His litter was scared when they came in as a small kittens but Jason can easily be picked up and loved now. He plays well with his 7 friends in the kitten playroom. He is not too keen on snuggling right now because you know - a kitten has to play! And you do need to give him the choice of coming to you or approach him slowly. The consensus among his cat roommates and the volunteers is that Jason is a sweet boy and gets even more cuddly and playful as he learns to trust you. Jason also loves to play with interactive toys (like wand toys) with the volunteers. What my Foster Says About Me: Coming soon! TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The adoption fee for a kitten (under 7 months old) is $220 ($380 for two kittens adopted together). If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat.
