Jimmy

*** Jimmy is at Cat & Craft in Vista. *** Jimmy: white/tan Siamese mix, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 5/29/23, #19534 Cats: good Dogs: good Children: calm kids BACKGROUND: Jimmy was born in the desert of Imperial County and had found himself at a local shelter that is low on resources and adoption opportunities; when we had an opportunity to help some of their cats, Jimmy was one of the ones who transferred to our care to find himself a happy home closer to the coast! PERSONALITY: Jimmy has a sweet soul. Endearingly mellow, he doesn't demand yet manages to express his wishes and his happiness is clear when you oblige. This can be giving him his own food bowl to the side so he isn't eating in a cluster of cats to spending quality time together on the couch with him lounging on the back near your head. Jimmy likes to sit on identified spots within a larger space, so he'll pick the cat bed on a sofa or park on a piece of paper on the floor. He enjoys his assorted toys, though really went crazy for the laser pointer! Jimmy is a very loving kitty who comes up to you all the time to ask for a cheek scratch, and he likes to nuzzle at your face when he's in range... this kitty gives kisses! COMPATIBILITY: Jimmy is comfortable with other cats. He has met small dogs in the past and didn't get upset when they ran up to him. We think Jimmy would be fine with calm children once he has a chance to settle into a new environment; he likes a bit of adjustment time and then does very well.
