Hi, I'm Kennett. I am a medium-haired grey male, born approximately 3/19/23. I'm a shy guy, but with a slow approach, I quickly lean in to cheek rubs and full pets. My hair gets silky smooth with each enjoyable stroke of a brush. My trust in humans has grown thanks to the patience and understanding of my foster family and volunteers, and being able to stay close to my sibling Kirkby. When I get overwhelmed with too much noise or activity around me, I seek Kirkby for comfort and we like rubbing our heads together and lay close. We were outdoor kitties in OK, but we were willing to learn about indoor life. In addition to liking dry food, I prefer to have a little water added to my wet food so that it's a little soupy. I'm getting better at eating in front of my humans as long as my surrounding are calm and quiet.
I would love a peaceful home with an experienced kitty lover who will pamper me and be patient with me without expecting me to change my personality too much or too soon. A calm adult home would be perfect for me, or perhaps one with older teenagers who are sensitive to my needs. I would really love it if my brother Kirkby could join us too. I will truly flourish if my introduction into a new home is slow and gradual. Starting me in a small room and slowly expand my living area will allow me to open up at my own pace.
