King (FIV+)

King is a handsome 8 year old male. He came to the shelter as a stray and would love a new home to call his own. King has FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus.) This virus is species-specific and only contagious to cats. FIV is NOT contagious to humans, dogs, and non-feline animals. This means he can cohabitate with other kitties with this virus, dogs, and non-feline animals. This disease can lower the immune system and is spread to other cats through deep bite wounds from an infected cat. King must always remain an indoor kitty and be fed a nutritionally complete and balanced diet. Cats with this virus can live normal and happy lives. This sweet boy would love nothing more than a forever home and a chance to give you all his love. King is already neutered, so he can go to his forever home the same day he is adopted!
