Meet Kitty, an approximately 1-year-old long-haired tuxedo boy with a heart of gold. Neutered and fully vaccinated, with a microchip pending, Kitty is ready for his forever home. Though he’s painfully shy at first and may need months to adjust to a new environment, the wait is worth it. Once he feels safe, Kitty blossoms into an inquisitive, chatty, and incredibly cuddly companion. This special boy needs an owner who can offer plenty of time and patience, and who is around a lot to help him feel secure. Kitty may also do well with one other relaxed and friendly cat, but he’s not a fan of dogs or children. If you’re looking for a gentle and loving feline friend to share your life with, Kitty is the perfect match. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through. Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! We do not do holiday adoptions as well as we require the cats to be adopted for indoor companions only (no outdoor living) Our mission: The Marvellous Menagerie is a registered 501c3 and non-profit in the state of MN and is a growing neonatal kitten nursery, farm animal refuge and rescue for fur farm foxes. ?We are raising funds to buy a property.
