Hi, my name is Kiwi! I'm almost 6 years old and as you can see, I am gorgeous. This is my second stay at the rescue. My last adopters tossed me aside when they had a baby. When I came back to the rescue, it was discovered that I was having a lot of health issues. Not only did my last owners throw me out like garbage, but they had also never taken me to the vet. Thankfully, my condition is now under control with medication thanks to the dedicated volunteers here. Despite being failed by humans for essentially my entire life, I am an absolute sweetheart. My favorite activity is cuddling - I like to be as close to people as possible, and I'd probably crawl inside of your skin if I could. I'm looking for a FOREVER home with someone that has lots of time to snuggle and understands my medical issues. I would prefer to be the only pet, but I would likely do well in a home with another cat as long as they give me a lot of space. No dogs or young kiddos, please! Due to my conditions, I would do best in a calm home with people that don't move frequently. I am spayed, up to date on vaccinations, fiv/felv negative, microchipped, dewormed and flea treated. Located in Jeannette, PA. I am fully blind due to Progressive Retinal Atrophy. I have a condition called Lymphocytic Cholangitis, which essentially means that I have a lot of inflammation in my gallbladder and liver. This condition is managed with 3 daily medications, which I don't mind taking at all. Due to this condition, I will need a bit more vet care than the "usual" cat. Please don't let this deter you from adopting me - I'm an amazing little girl and I really deserve the best *forever* home in the world!
