My Story

LA TART is the prettiest little girl, with a soft, light grey coat and peach colored markings. A very unique Tortie! Found as a stray, her rescuer kept her safe as they searched for her home. She came to us once there was room. LA TORT was very frightened in her new strange surroundings. She would cower in the corner whenever her space was being cleaned. But with a little time and reassurance, LA TART has become more trusting and really enjoys attention. She loves pets and head rubs! If the cat next door gets too much attention, LA TORT will reach out and pat you to remind you that she is also there and needs some love. LA TORT did ok with the dogs her rescuer had, and she doesn't seem bothered by the other cats. As she is still a kitten/teenager, she should be fine with kids who are old enough to understand soft touch and no squeezing or hugging the kitty. They also need to know that rough housing with a young cat can result in bits and scratches if the cat becomes over-stimulated. This cutie will win hearts. It may take a minute or three but win her trust and you will lose your heart to her!
