My Story

“Getting to know you, getting to know all about you. Getting to like you, getting to hope you like me…” sung by Anna in “The King and I” by Rodgers and Hammerstein. I’m Lacey, a grey, front-declawed, adult female whose person passed away recently. Her son, who brought me to Paws and Claws, said that I am often shy until I get to know someone. People can be like that, too, can’t they? Once I learn more about them and feel comfortable, I become very affectionate. I liked sleeping with my person. Will that be alright with you? I wasn’t too fond of children, and I wasn’t around dogs or other cats. I was eating Purina Cat Chow. I hope that when I get to know you, and you get to know me, that we will be “purrcisely” each other’s “cup of tea. I know you’ll love Lacey! Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax
