Lady Lovely Locks is a cat who feels like a little piece of magic. Her fur is so soft it almost doesn't seem real, and her eyes are an unusual mix of blue and green. She's gentle and dainty but never shy about joining in with other cats for a game or a cuddle.She has a purr that feels like it belongs to a much bigger cat, a deep, steady sound that is constant once she trusts you. That trust might take a little time to build but it's so beautiful when you get that first purr! She had a rough kittenhood so she can be timid, but has always been the sweetest girl.Now, she's a cat who is brave in her own right and absolutely honey sweet. There's something grounding about her presence, and she's ready to be best friends with anyone willing to meet her where she is.Lady Lovely Locks needs to be in a home with another cat who likes to play and will engage with her. She will be available for adoption after her spay on January 11, but is available now for a meet and greet!

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
$300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$200 for kittens (6 months & under)
$125 for cats (older than 6 months)
$75 for senior cats (8 years or older)

Our adoption process is:
1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.
2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
