My Story

Lapsang and Longjin are neutered seven-and-a-half-year-old seal point Cornish Rex brothers. Extremely affectionate and engaging with people and each other, they'd do best in an active home where they could be the center of attention. Their people moved to a less urban area and the cats get intensely upset when wildlife visits their backyard. Even though the cats are inside, the presence of other animals causes one of the boys to get riled up, which then upsets the other. While they can go for stretches of time without it occurring, they do not want to risk one of the boys getting hurt or ill from the stress. After months of trying to remedy the situation their people are very reluctantly rehoming them. Outside of Lapsang needing to lose a little weight, they are in general good health, microchipped and up-to-date on their vaccines. Both are talkers and would love a busy home where they could be doted on. Big cuddlers, they crawl into shirts and sweatshirts, like being cradled and perch on shoulders. They haven't lived with children, but love when cat-gentle kids visit, playing for hours together. They are in the East Bay area of Northern California. Homes within a 3 hour drive will have priority.
