My Story

Meet Leaf, a kitten with a heart as big as her personality! She can be a bit shy at first, taking her time to warm up to new faces. But this little one is always eager to meet new people and make friends, she warms up quickly with some petting and becomes the sweetest lady! Leaf is gentle and mellow, preferring quiet cuddles over wild play. Despite her initial fearfulness, Leaf is incredibly affectionate, her love shining through in every purr and nuzzle. She's a bundle of love wrapped in a small, furry package. Adopting Leaf would mean gaining a loyal friend who will shower you with unconditional love and companionship! Leaf has been diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). CH is a neurological disorder that occurs when the cerebellum, the part of the brain which controls fine motor skills and coordination, is not fully developed. Hence the nickname "Wobbly Cat Syndrome." Cats with CH may fall over or appear to struggle getting around and generally do best in homes with minimal stairs and prefer carpeting instead of hard flooring to prevent possible injuries. While there is no cure for CH, it is not painful and these animals can lead long, happy lives with their new families, still offering plenty of affection and often being very playful and curious of the fast-moving world around them!
