My Story

Please contact Angela ([email protected]), (510) 909-6737 for more information about this pet. Foster or adopt Lepi! Lepi's story is one that melts hearts. She appeared one day, out of nowhere, like a little mystery left on my doorstep. She was small, fragile, and so sweet, with soft fur and wide curious eyes that looked up at me. There was no way a tiny cat like her deserved to be left outside, especially with the speeding cars in our neighborhood. From the first moment, it was impossible not to fall in love with her. She quickly opened up, showing a playful spirit and a deep affection that made me wish I could keep her forever. But reality hit hard, I already have a dog who, no matter how much I tried, just doesn't get along with cats. My heart sank because I knew this precious little creature couldn't stay. But I sat down with her outside gave her food and water and love. A few days later, she disappeared. I searched for her, hoping she was safe, but as days turned into a week, my hope faded. I couldn't shake the thought of her out there, alone, facing danger on those busy streets. I thought I'd lost her forever, and it broke my heart. Then, miraculously, she returned. This time, I knew I couldn't let her go. I brought her inside, despite knowing my dog would be upset. I closed us off in my room, just Lepi and me, and watched her explore her new surroundings with those bright, curious eyes. Her warmth brought so much peace to my heart. She settled onto my lap, purring as she kneaded little "biscuits" on my leg, her soft fur warming my hands as I pet her. She curled up, resting her head against me as if she knew she was safe and loved. Lepi is full of life, playful, and affectionate, and all she wants is a safe, warm home where she can finally stay. She deserves a family that can give her the love she so willingly gives. If you're looking for a companion to brighten your days and fill your heart, please consider adopting or fostering Lepi. She's waiting for someone to love her just as deeply as she loves in return. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Lepi, contact Suzie at (925) 577-6107. Lepi is located in Contra Costa County, CA.
