My Story

LION CUB, a handsome young male orange tabby, has the spirit of a kitten trapped in the body of a larger cat. He's a sweet-natured and social boy who loves to play with all kinds of toys. When he's not in play-mode, Lion Cub enjoys hopping up on a lap for a nice cuddle. He's a champion biscuit maker and has a strong purr. He even reaches up to give "kitty kisses" by licking your chin and rubbing against your face. Lion Cub came to our cat rescue as a friendly neighborhood stray being cared for by a Good Samaritan who has been fostering him. Now he's ready for a loving forever home to call his own. He is quick to warm up to people but has been known to pick on other cats, so it's best for him to be the only feline in the family. Since he's used to having outside access during the day (he does not have outdoor access during the night), he may do best in a home with a catio or a safely-fenced backyard in a quiet neighborhood. If you're looking for an affectionate furry buddy who will keep your lap warm and your heart full of love, Lion Cub might just be the one for you. LION CUB has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Lion Cub in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
