Lu Lu

Hi there Sunrise Friends. My name is Lu Lu, and with a name like that you might think I am a girl cat, but you would be mistaken. I am a full grown man of five years old. I came in to Sunrise in Spring 2024 with my brother Vito. We were a strange situation. I am not sure what happened, but my family was desperate to rehome us because of a change in their living situation. They drove several hours because Karen was the only one who would take us in. We were so scared and upset that Karen thought we might never be adoptable. We had never had any vet care, so she took care of that first. We were healthy but still had trouble adjusting to our new shelter home. She decided to let us join the free roaming cats in the loft area at Sunrise, and the most remarkable thing happened. We got along great with all the other cats, AND we immediately started begging for affection and attention from all the visitors! We love playing with the cats and the people here. We of course love wet food time, nummy! I get along with Vito and could be adopted with him, but we are not closely bonded and could adjust to a home with new cats or friendly dogs.
