*** Lucky is at Petsmart Encinitas. *** Lucky: buff tabby, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 8/1/24, #19545 Cats: enjoys, ok solo Dogs: unknown, possibly Children: calm respectful ones likely ok BACKGROUND: Lucky was originally taken in by a kind-hearted person who does independent rescue work, but when life circumstances changed and she wasn't able to keep the cats in her care, The Rescue House stepped in to help her out. PERSONALITY: Lucky is an extremely friendly fellow! This handsome boy has a loud purr that you get to experience on a regular basis... because he loves to be in your lap. He's got a chill temperament, though that doesn't mean he's a slouch when it comes to exercise. Quite the contrary. Lucky always likes when a toy is brought out, particularly the feather wand! He also enjoys playing with his foster friends. But people are paramount for Lucky, and his main focus is you you you. If you like clingy Velcro kitties, he's your guy. COMPATIBILITY: Lucky shares space with two other foster cats and is very accepting of them. He'd be happy to have a kitty friend and it would give him a play outlet when you're not available, though since he's a very people-oriented cat it's not a requirement for him. We haven't seen him yet around dogs or children; with his relaxed temperament we think calm respectful children would be fine and he might be okay with a dog if given a proper introduction. He may be the one with the name, but you'll be the lucky one if you adopt Lucky!
