My Story

Say hello to Lulu! This pretty girl recently made her way to our shelter. Lulu was surrendered to us due to previously having litterbox issues and scared behavior. Thankfully, our veterinarians thoroughly evaluated her and found that she has a spinal abnormality. They determined this abnormality is causing nerve pain, explaining her behavior issues. Since then, Lulu has been put on two pain medications to help and has had a major change in personality! Lulu has become social and attention seeking, and now has no issues with her litter box. Due to having chronic pain and needing lifelong medications, Lulu is considered a Special Care animal. Lulu has previously co-existed well with other cats and could live with them in her future home. Lulu would prefer a quiet home where she can relax and interact with people when she chooses. If you think you could be the home for Lulu, come and meet her at the Anti-Cruelty Society today!
