His unique charm is amplified by his adorably cross-eyed gaze, though his vision is perfectly fine—just part of his quirky appeal! When Mackerel first arrived in foster care, he was a scared little tiger who needed a calm, quiet space to come into his own. Now, he’s blossomed into a sweet, loving kitty who adores nap time, whether it’s curled up on your lap or perched high up where he can relax undisturbed. This playful boy loves showing off his "big cat" skills with stick toys, channeling his inner predator with enthusiasm. He’s also a total foodie, with licky treats and chicken bits being the way to his heart. While Mackerel isn’t much of a meower, his soft squeaky noises are his way of being vocal and sharing his opinions—they’ll melt your heart every time!
