Meet Maize You can stick to one syllable like delicious corn, or you can go with Maiz-ee as we have been calling her. Maize is only about 4 months old and she has been through a lot in that time. She came to her foster home as a terrified kitten. For the first few weeks her favorite place was in a big drawer where she would hiss at the offender who chose to open it. If youve never met a tiny hissing kitten, its nothing but adorable! After about a month with her foster family forcing lots of love, snuggles, and play upon her, Maize decided that humans are a-ok. The Maize you meet today is a loving little middle child in her foster home. She idolizes the big cats and follows them around all of the time. She enjoys playing with the smaller kittens there but has been known to push them around a bit. And at night, her favorite place is to cuddle up next to foster Mom. Maize is gorgeous and will be well suited to almost any home. She is used to an active household, children, and other cats. The shelter will be scary for her, so please excuse her if you meet her there and shes a bit shy. Maize is currently in a foster home!
