My Story

Meet Marcy, a sweet and stunning cat with a luxurious orange coat and the most captivating golden-green eyes you’ve ever seen. Her soft, silky fur is perfect for petting, and Marcy will gladly remind you of this as she rubs against your legs for attention. This affectionate girl loves to be part of your world—whether it’s soaking up your love during a cuddle session or simply lounging nearby as you go about your day. Marcy has shown she’s comfortable around other cats, making her a wonderful addition to a home with feline friends. Marcy’s calm, loving nature and elegant looks make her a true gem. She’s ready to bring warmth, companionship, and plenty of purrs into your life. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
