These two pretty girls caught the attention of one of our volunteers when they were visiting our local shelter. The kittens begged to be rescued, and their wish was granted. They’re young kittens, born in the middle of October. Mariah loves to give kisses and sit on your lap. Shania loves to chase feathers and is always busy watching over sister. She also loves to sit on your lap after playing. They're both such a joy. Both kittens are lap cats and love to cuddle. They’re thriving in a foster home loving life. They’re both extremely friendly and would love to be adopted together, they are bonded. We do prefer to adopt kittens in pairs unless there is another young friendly cat in the home for the new kitten to play with. Having a feline friend can be incredibly beneficial for their social and emotional well-being, providing comfort and support throughout their lives. There is a discount when adopting more than one pet. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have. NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption. If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement. We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21. Thank you for your understanding.
