Marilyn

Meet the gorgeous Marilyn! She is an incredibly affectionate and sweet cat. She was diagnosed with stomatitis, and it was determined that the best course was to remove all of her teeth. She is healed up and doing well. She does still struggle with some inflammation and needs regular meds to manage it. She is looking for a home where she can do her favorite things: lay on your lap and make biscuits. She does get a little playful sometimes and enjoys batting around a small stuffed toy. Marilyn is the definition of a lap cat. She adores affection and attention. She is vocal and will talk to you with her soft squeaky voice. She needs to be fed a wet food diet, since without teeth, hard food is too difficult for her to eat. She will also need help keeping her fur tidy. She needs to be regularly brushed to avoid it getting matted. She is very well-behaved even when brushing her tummy. She will gently let you know, with a little grumble, when she is ready for a break. She would likely behave well for a professional groomer that specializes in cat grooming. She wants to be wherever you are. She will follow you around the house as you do chores and take any opportunity she can to cuddle. She will also paw at you if you seem to have forgotten that she wants attention. She gets along with other cats but doesn't really interact with them. She doesn't want to play with other cats. She would be ok as a single cat as long as there is someone home most of the time to keep her company.
