My Story

Mateo, who was born 5/30/24, is the most adorable bundle of joy. He looks like a lion cub. Mateo is a bit shy because he missed out on human love when he was very young. His mom is Lupe, a 1-year-old,very petite and young mom, who is affectionate and loving. Lupe and her kittens were left behind when their owner moved away. A neighbor started caring for them and found a home for one of the kittens and asked UAF to help mom and son. The two of them play so cute together and love snuggling with each other. They are bonded and need to be adopted together. Lupe and Mateo are a beautiful little family. Mateo is a short hair buff tabby. He is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for both Lupe and Mateo is $120 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. If a kitten is adopted and taken home before the required set of kitten vaccinations is completed, the adopter will be responsible for completing any of the required vaccinations including a rabies vaccination at 4 months at their own expense. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out.
