Often we get cats in to the shelter who are better suited to an outdoor lifestyle. These cats may not be very social, may not use litterboxes, or may simply prefer to wander the great outdoors. The good part is that they can provide some amazing services for a very small amount of work.
Barn cats and kittens are available for all your pest control needs. In return, they just ask for some shelter (a barn, outbuilding, garage, etc.), food, and clean water. Barn cats and kittens adopted through Talbot Humane have been spayed or neutered, have received all appropriate vaccines, and are ready for their furever homes. There are never any fees for adopting barn cats and we do recommend them going home in at least pairs.
