Maverick

Maverick is a local mom from Chelsea, MA who came into foster care while heavily pregnant and delivered and succesfully raised NINE healthy, happy kittens. An unusually high number for a young mom, it was even more unusual that every single one of these bouncing babies was fat, happy, fed, and nurtured by this incredible mom without the need for bottle feeding or other human interventions! Her fosters said she is beautiful both inside and out - she has been very calm and easygoing while in foster, but does enjoy playing from time to time! She loves catnip and snuggling and enjoys being picked up, too! She's been fostered with and is excellent with children, but her brief exposure to a dog was not a success. She briefly met her fosters' resident cat from afar, and there was no animosity so we have no reason to think she couldn't live happily with another resident cat with proper introductions. :)
