Max

Max and his siblings came to our rescue from a kind Post Office worker that found them roaming around by themselves for several days. Max's siblings have all been adopted out, and he is now ready to find his new forever home! He is a super chill guy that loves attention. He lets everyone pick him up and carry him around, and has a purr that is going on a regular basis. Max LOVES other cats and dogs (once he gets to know them - it might take a bit of time to warm up, as with most cats), and is used to having both around. He has a lot of energy, and enjoys exploring, and trying to steal people food/drinks at his foster home. His favorite spots are usually in a cardboard box, on the cat tree, or next to a kitty or human friend. Max stayed at his foster home a little longer than his siblings due to some testing that was done concerning the ongoing appearance of his 3rd eyelids. The vet was able to rule out several things, and we are left with guesses as to why his 3rd eyelids are staying slightly elevated. The best guess is that he has Haws syndrome. This doesn't result in messes in the litter box, so if that is what he has, then it isn't bad enough to cause issues there. A higher quality cat food *might* help this. Max acts like a typical teenage kitten, and will be sure to bring joy and laughter to whichever family is lucky enough to get to bring him home! His foster home will miss him greatly, but are excited for him to start his new adventure!
