Maxine CMCR #3480 Female DSH Brown Tabby Approximate DOB - 8/13/2024 Available: Now Meet Maxine, a kitten with a zest for life. She is her own little being. She is very independent and would rather watch everyone than join in with playing. HOWEVER, if you drag a stick or a straw on the ground…game over. She will chase that stick until she is exhausted. She's playful, bounding with energy and eager to watch the world from the top of the cat tree. She loves being up high, so a tall cat tree in her forever home would be her happy place. With her independence, she prefers to be left alone unless she comes to you first. She will give warning hisses saying “I need my space”, but it's not aggressive, just her way of communicating when she is not in the mood to be handled. Over time with trust, we expect this kitten to flourish. She is still young and with a hard start to life, she'll take some work but will make her love even more worth it in the end. Maxine doesn't want a home with dogs or kids, but may do well with other cats if they are older and mellow. She could also be content solo as long as her new parents play with her and are patient with her as she settles. Maxine's playful energy and independence make her a perfect companion for anyone seeking a low-maintenance but highly rewarding pet.
