My Story

Maya was found abandoned and wandering at the Honda Center in Anaheim and is now in a loving foster home! She loves catnip toys, chin scratches, people/bird watching out the window, and just about any food she encounters. She enjoys being brushed, is chatty to let you know she wants something, and will make biscuits on your lap. Her current daily routine includes a lot of sleeping and relaxing - she'll keep you company whenever you are at home! Please come see her and the other cats that are available at the PetSmart store in The District Shopping Center in Tustin (2237 Park Avenue). Adoptions are by Appointment and on Saturdays from 1-3pm. You can get pre-approved for your adoption! Just visit our website and submit your application online: http://www.oc-arc.com/adoptions/how-to-adopt/ When you choose to adopt one of OCARC's animals, the adoption donation is $175. Each of our cats and kittens has been: - Microchipped - Spayed or neutered - Tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) - Tested for FIV (Feline Aids) - De-flead (topical Revolution or Advantage) - De-wormed (tape and round worms) - Given their first FVRCP vaccination: We keep all our kitties current on their FVRCP vaccines so depending on the age of the kitty when you adopt him or her and how long we've had the kitty, the vaccine series may be complete. If not, you as the adopter will be responsible for any further vaccinations in the series. - Rabies Vaccination when age appropriate These services would usually cost more than $500. Of course, an adoption donation of more than $175 is always welcome, since we often provide additional medical care such as x-rays, blood panels, treatment for ears, eyes, upper respiratory infections and viruses.
