My Story

A long- haired, petite beauty. You don't find stunners like this often. Poor Melissa ended up in a shelter as a stray. She was suffering from extensive hair loss caused by mites and she was scared. Fast forward a few weeks and you'll find this sweet girl healing nicely, physically and mentally. Foster mom is so pleased with her progress each day. Melissa loves to sleep at night with Foster mom and loves that it entails plenty of head scratching, body massages, and belly rubs. She is talkative with the cutest little chirps and mews. After the fun bedtime ritual, she may curl up under the blankets, next to Foster mom's pillow, or even on the pillow. We don't know Melissa's backstory and why she has been so cautious, but we do know she is becoming braver and more self assured with every day that passes. She is getting along with other cats. Melissa has discovered she likes catnip, and Temptation Treats. She uses a horizontal cardboard scratching pad and has perfect litterbox habits. Melissa would do best in a quiet household with an adopter willing to be patient and work with her as continues to regain her confidence. Foster mom says Melissa is definitely worth it!
