My Story

Miss Daisy, quite frankly, isn't for everyone. She's too sweet and sensitive to be a TNR and be released out, but she wasn't fully socialized as a kitten. She's come around to a degree, but she doesn't like leaving her kennel. She doesn't play much and when she does - well, how can I say it - she doesn't know how to play without 'slapping' yet. While we sweep out her kennel in the mornings, she tries to play. From an outsider's perspective, it looks aggressive, but it's just her 'learning', she never hurts or hisses, that's just her way of playing so far. Miss Daisy, out of a shelter environment, has a high probability of becoming a very sweet and loving kitty. She's just not able to learn that she's 'safe' and can be comfortable with all the hustle and bustle of this type of place. She has a super sweet face, is very quiet, probably won't mess with your charging cords or ruin your curtains. And one day soon, she'll warm up and come lay with you and it'll be the best feeling you've had in years. Miss Daisy has been spayed, has her FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations and will be chipped before leaving the facility, If you'd like to come meet Miss Daisy, even if just to come socialize with her, head on over to the Humane Society for Logan County at 1970 Lewisburg Rd in Russellville. She'll leave the light on for ya.
