Mew, heavily pregnant, was dumped by a previous owner at a kill shelter, and understandably, she was traumatized and terrified of people and the world around her. But with love, patience, and guidance from her foster family, a resident dog, and 3 "cool" resident cats, Mew has blossomed into a much braver, more confident cat. She’s learned to trust people, love to play with toys (her most favorite is a catnip fish, and a flying ball which she likes to box!), and even enjoys pets now!  Mew likes other cats' company, but she doesn't appreciate it if they don't respect her personal space. Though Miss Mew has made incredible progress, she is still a bit shy with strangers, and will need a patient, quiet home where she can continue to build her confidence. Mew is a gentle soul who would thrive in a calm environment with a family who understands that she needs time and space to feel comfortable. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion who will reward your patience with deep affection and a gentle tap, Miss Mew might be the perfect fit for you. Mew is spayed, up to date with vaccines, negative for FIV/Felv, and is microchipped.  All of AdvoCat Rescue's cats and kittens are fostered in private homes. We require a completed pre-application to be submitted prior to scheduling potential adopters to meet them. Once an application is approved, we then schedule a virtual meet & greet.
