My Story

Meet Mocha, a combination of sweet and a little spicy which totally complements her beautiful markings. Mocha is shy and a little hesitant upon approach but once the petting starts she relaxes and enjoys the affection. When she was in foster care, Mocha would cuddle with her foster Mom as they watched tv. Mocha also has the cutest little trill. Mocha is looking for a patient adopter with a slow approach as Mocha wants to be loved and part of a family. Mocha has a good appetite and likes a good play session. A wand toy is always a great choice. If you are looking for a cuddle bug in the making Mocha is the kitten for you. For the safety of our kittens and for children, we do not adopt kittens under six months old to a home with children under the age of 6. We believe that kittens are happiest when they have a feline friend so Mocha will need to be adopted with another kitten here, like her brother Murphy, or go to a home with an existing, playful cat. Mocha has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $120. has an approximate birthdate of 08-19-24. If you are interested in any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4. Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.
