Moonmoss, affectionately called Moony, is a stunning seal point Siamese looking for a patient and experienced adopter to help him continue his journey of blossoming. While he's shy and cautious around new people and situations, he has a loud purr and an adorable meow that he's learning to use when he's happy. His face is irresistibly cute and will absolutely melt your heart.Moony feels most secure in a cozy cat condo, where he loves to lounge and observe the world at his own pace. He's also a big fan of Churus-his favorite treat-and they're a perfect way to bond with him. Every morning, he sits right in front of his door to greet his foster mom, ready for his beloved pets.He has made incredible progress in his foster home, and in a home where people can dedicate even more time to him, we believe he will truly thrive. Moony would do best in a quiet home with a confident cat companion to help him feel safe and at ease. Noises and fast movements can be overwhelming for him, but with patience and understanding, he will become a loving, unforgettable companion. His adopter will need to have experience with shy cats.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
$300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$200 for kittens (6 months & under)
$125 for cats (older than 6 months)
$75 for senior cats (8 years or older)

Our adoption process is:
1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.
2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
