Mrs. Lovett

Mrs. Lovett is our lead baker here at Father John's - don't worry about what's in the pies, she just wants to say hi to you! Mrs. Lovett is just under 9 years old, and came to us because her mom passed away and her dad wasn't able to continue caring for her. You'll notice that Mrs. Lovett has thin fur on her sides - sadly this beautiful girl stress-grooms, which is why we want her to find her forever home soon! She has a history of overgrooming and hairballs, but has been doing well since coming to us. She does have other habits that are more humorous, like stealing sponges out of the sink - be sure to lock up Brillo pads in particular! Because of her tendency to get stressed easily, she is hoping for a calm home to go home to. She did previously live with another cat, and didn't mind sharing her home (yes, HER home - she's the queen!), as long as he gave her space. Here, she shares her room with 8 other cats, and really doesn't care about them as long as they leave her alone - she's picked the coziest bed in the tallest spot to hang out in! She'd definitely prefer to be your one-and-only, but wouldn't mind sharing her home again with the right kitty friend. She's never been around kids, so she'd prefer an adult-only home so she can get all of the attention. Even if you live on Fleet Street, you don't need to worry about this Mrs. Lovett baking you into a pie. She needs a little time to get to know you, but once she does, she's affectionate and will want to sleep with you every night!
