Murphie

Murphie’s is now a tripod kitty as of December 2024. He is recovering nicely. He’s soft, squishy has a nice purr and is moving around on his own nicely. He’s fully eating and using the litter box without issue. He’s been roaming around his foster’s home without any issues. He also has jumped up and down on the cat shelves. He has a lovely orange/rust coat with white and rusty orange eyes! We will be capturing his handsomeness and updating pics and videos soon! His previous owner died suddenly and we are searching for great homes for him and his housemates. They are all gentle souls in search of love and affection. Murphie was dumped on the streets of Palmdale and probably hit by a car when he was brought into the Palmdale Animal Care Center. There it was determined that his fractured left rear leg needed to be amputated.. We were able to pull him when his 3rd and final plea was released. He is currently at a foster in West Palmdale. Within minutes Murphie met their other cats through his big kennel and didn’t hiss or seem stressed. He is now chilling out in the foster’s 8 year old son’s bedroom. He likes to be read to, tucked in to a cat bed and exploring some cat shelves! He is sweet and calm. Murphie is available for meet and greets in Santa Clarita and West Palmdale. Will also be at adoption events at Petco Bouquet Canyon. If you are interested in adopting Murphie, please bring a carrier.
