PURRING BISCUIT-MAKER DOB 12/25/23 MEEEOOOWWW, everyone! I'm Nutmeg, a lovable, attention-demanding tortoiseshell gal with a big heart and an even bigger personality! I'm a total love bug who just wants to be close to you-very close. If you're not giving me the attention I crave, I'll let you know with a loud and clear meow that sounds like a chirping bird. It might sound silly, but I have a solution if you're busy: you have two arms-one to hold me and the other to get things done! So whether you're tackling chores or working from home at your computer, I'm ready to be your cuddly sidekick. I don't want to miss a thing! When it's time to rest, though, I turn into a lap cat extraordinaire! I happily make biscuits and even suck on your clothes while I purr and settle in for snuggles. My journey hasn't been an easy one-Foster Meowmy rescued me as a friendly, emaciated stray who was scrounging for food at a community-cat feeding station. My sociability made me stand out as likely someone's pet who had been abandoned - most likely because of the inflationary financial crisis. When I arrived at my foster home, I breathed a grateful sigh of relief because I could kiss the hardscrabble life good-bye. I much prefer brimming food/ water bowls, soft beds, and climate control -- compared to dumpster-diving and withstanding the outdoor elements. Here in my foster home, I get along great with the other resident cats as well as act as the friendly hostess who welcomes visitors. Despite my past history, my "tortitude" has prevailed and probably been responsible for my resilience. I'm a loyal, loving cat who wants to be right there by your side every step of the way.
